George Fox (Drayton, Leicestershire, 1624ko uztaila - Londres, 1691ko urtarrilaren 13a) kuakero sektaren sortzailea izan zen. Zapataria zen. Espiritu Santuak deitzen zuela uste osoa harturik, 1647an hasi zen predikatzen. Bere jarraitzaileek Adiskideen Erlijiozko Elkartea (ingelesez: The Religious Society of Friends) edo quakers (beldurtiak, Foxek epaile bati esan baitzion Jainkoaren hitzaren beldur behar dela izan) sortu zuten. Kuakeroek liturgia eta apaizgo oro gaitzesten dute, eta norbere kontzientzian bizi den Espiritu Santuari besterik ez diote garrantzirik ematen. Sarritan izan ziren esetsiak, eta 1654an Ameriketara joan ziren. Han eragin handia izan zuten XVII.-XVIII. mendeetan.
